Template SideScroll is a functional 2D sidescroller base, designed to kickstart the development of action platformers or metroidvania-style games.
This early version includes solid core systems to help you build your own game from a clean, flexible foundation.

• Robust and optimized collision system for platforming.

• Player state machine managing movement, jumping, crouching, etc.

• Variable jump height, with coyote time and input buffering.

• Smooth crouching animation and transitions.

• Directional warp system (obj_warp) for changing rooms or areas.

• Ability to drop through one-way platforms by crouching and pressing jump.

• Clean and modular code structure with comments to guide understanding.
